Tenerife – the Island of Eternal Spring. Aptly named indeed, for Tenerife warm temperate coast never experiences winter. With a year round guarantee of sun and warmth, Tenerife is the choice of the more discerning traveller.
Tenerife – the Island of contrasts. In one small island the visitor can experience: arid, lush tropical and alpine scenery all within the space of an hour. Mountains, valleys, ravines and warm sunny coastlines, all vie for the visitor’s attention.
Tenerife – something for everyone. The island of Tenerife, although small in size, has a huge variety of species due to its range of microclimates, with over 100 species of plant known only to the island. Over half the island’s landmass is designated a Protected Natural Area.
Tenerife – history. Throughout history the islands have been a crossroads and a place of interest from the time of the ancient Greeks to Christopher Columbus to Britain’s greatest naval hero Admiral Nelson. A constant stream of explorers, conquerors and would be conquerors have all left their mark on these islands.
Tenerife – activities. Whether it’s relaxing by the pool or on the beach, eating out, shopping, golfing, sailing, windsurfing, or for the young (or young at heart) clubbing,the Island has something for everyone.
Tenerife – the future. 4 million tourists visited the island last year and those visitors are changing in character from the visitors of only a few years ago. Following legislation in the Canarian parliament, all new hotels must be either 5*, have conference or activity facilities. As we at the EZE Group know, the face of tourism is getting decidedly more exclusive.
